Thank you so much for your comment. And even then it will put Huge stress on it and on you for the rest of your life. Also don't ask questions that are too intrusive, or those that you would not like to answer yourself. Most couples who are married where one is a Mormon and the other isn't, usually stems from a situation where they both were married in the temple, then one of them lost their faith sometime after that. The big one is that under Mormon theology both of you must be believing, fully active members to live together in the afterlife. Your girlfriend might, or maybe IS, going through this. And I'll disagree with the other person who responded to your comment.
Your probably thinking of a sect of the Mormons, I'm sure there is one like that. In childhood, that includes the majority. Until you can believe someone else's beliefs are reasonable, you will not be able to treat them with the respect they deserve. It is really hard and so good to see that I am not alone in this. I would like to compliment the brave ladies for being the strong spouse and keeping the marriage moving forward. Other guys I've dated in a similar situation have just asked me to put the keys in the mailbox when I leave though. He hasn't proposed and instead of saving for a ring he is going to use the money to travel to go to his friend's wedding. Always know the hospital and patients come first-it is just a given. My wife is living proof that they CAN be worth it.
